El Dorado Hills - Located just off highway 50, just East of Folsom, you find the newer area of El Dorado Hills. El Dorado Hills expansion has increased rapidly due to the development of Serrano. Serrano features a private golf course and country club. There are several types of memberships available. Homes within this area are production and custom and many are within gated areas.
There are also older, resale homes available. Lots are also very popular at this time. Many new subdivisions, such as, The Promontory offer you lots with fabulous views of the city and Folsom Lake.
El Dorado Hills can be reached by either El Dorado Hills Blvd., or Bass Lake Rd. Bass Lake Rd. features some of the newest subdivisions with more affordable housing.
